What I collect through this site, why, and how you stay in control of it.
Who this covers
This policy explains how I, Chris Liddle, collect and use personal information through christianliddle.com. I'm based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. If you have a question about your information, email me at [email protected].
What I collect
- What you send me. When you fill in a form or book a consultation, I receive what you enter: usually your name, email address, optional phone number and your message.
- Resource requests. When you request the podcast checklist or the bottleneck audit, I receive your first name and email address so I can send you the link.
- Basic site data. Like most websites, the hosting platform records technical details such as your browser, device and the pages you visit.
The podcast checklist and bottleneck audit save your ticks and answers in your own browser only. I don't receive them.
How I use it
- To reply to your inquiry, schedule a consultation or send the resource you asked for.
- To follow up about the thing you contacted me about.
- To keep the site working and understand, in general terms, how it's used.
I don't sell your information. Requesting a free resource isn't the same as joining a newsletter, and every email I send includes a way to unsubscribe.
Services that handle it
The website, forms, booking calendar and email are run on HighLevel (LeadConnector), which stores data on servers that may be outside Canada. Forms are protected from spam by Cloudflare. Some pages embed or link to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Substack, which have their own privacy policies. These providers may set cookies or similar technologies when you use their features.
How long I keep it
I keep inquiry and contact details for as long as they're useful for the conversation or work we're doing, and for any period required for business records. You can ask me to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or withdraw your consent to future emails, by emailing [email protected]. You can also unsubscribe using the link in any email. If you're not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
